12-Month Warranty on Every Device + Optional TradeCare+ Coverage

At Trade.com.au, we believe in delivering more than just great devices — we provide peace of mind. Every device we sell is covered by a 12-month warranty as standard. And for even greater protection, we offer TradeCare+, our extended warranty program that adds an extra 12 months of coverage, giving you a full 24 months of total warranty protection.


✅ What’s Covered Under the Standard 12-Month Warranty?

Our warranty covers functional defects and manufacturing faults not caused by user damage, including:

  • Display or touchscreen faults

  • Battery or charging issues (that fall outside of normal wear)

  • Speaker, microphone, or camera malfunctions

  • Internal hardware faults (e.g. motherboard issues not caused by impact or liquid)


🚫 What’s Not Covered?

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Physical or accidental damage (cracks, dents, scratches)

  • Liquid damage or corrosion

  • Issues from unauthorized repairs or tampering

  • Data loss, software bugs, or operating system modifications

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. minor battery decline over time)


🔧 What Is TradeCare+?

TradeCare+ is our premium extended warranty that provides an additional 12 months of coverage, extending your total warranty period to 24 months from the date of purchase.

TradeCare+ benefits include:

  • Everything included in our standard warranty

  • Extended protection for a full 2 years

  • Priority support and fast-track claims processing

TradeCare+ must be purchased at the time of ordering your device or within 14 days of receiving your order. Pricing varies by device model.


🛠️ How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Email hello@trade.com.au with your order number, description of the issue, and photos/videos (if applicable).

  2. Our support team will respond within 1–2 business days with next steps.

  3. If your claim is approved, we will cover return shipping for warranty-related issues.

Once we receive the item, we’ll inspect it and either:

  • Repair the device

  • Replace it with a device of equal or greater value

  • Or offer a refund if neither is feasible

Most warranty claims are resolved within 5–7 business days of receiving your item.


📝 Important Notes

  • Warranty is valid from the date of original purchase.

  • Your order confirmation or receipt is required.

  • Warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.

  • Devices that are found to be faulty due to misuse or damage will not be eligible under warranty.


📦 Shipping Responsibility

  • We cover return shipping for approved warranty claims.

  • For change-of-mind or non-warranty issues, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
